Now the next generation of Iten has taken over the business and under the new ownership, you'll find the melding of our classic work ethic and

Brian Iten Owner, Master Technician
Since 1991
While born and raised in Manhattan Beach, Brian also grew up in and around the world of the automotive industry. From an early age, he
tinkered with fixing cars under the watchful eye of his father.

In 1991 Brian decided to concentrate his efforts and attention to the development and growth of the family business. He went through
extensive training and has maintained ASE Certification in Engine Repair, Automatic transmission Transaxle, Manual Drive Train
and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning, Engine Performance and
Service Consultation.

Brian became a daddy in 2005 and a title has never fit someone so well. His passion for being an excellent father and husband surpass
even his passion for flying sailplanes.

Brian's philosophy on his relationships with clientele is a simple one: integrity, honesty and quality workmanship should be the
norm and not the exception. It is his promise to those that trust him and Iten's Car Care with their vehicles. Brian is 100%
committed to the challenge and responsibility of providing quality and cost effective auto repair and maintenance. |

Susan Iten Owner, Office Manager
Since 1978
Susan co-founded Howard Iten's Tune-Up Service/Howard Iten's Car Care Center in 1978 and worked many years in the back office
handling the books and being the backbone to its success. Mother and Son became partners in Iten's Car Care in May 2006 and once
again she can be found working in the back office and has easily stepped into her position of being the foundation of support
and guidance.

Susan completed a four-year Sign Language/Interpreter Training course at El Camino College and as a result of a friendship and
likened interest, co-founded with Karol Sikie, New Life Advocacy in 1992. NLA is a non-profit organization that works as Court
Advocates for victims of domestic violence in Los Angeles. Susan has also co-authored a printed "Guide through CA family court"
for victims of domestic violence.

Susan is the proud mother of Brian, grandmother of 1-year old Luc Taylor Iten and mother-in-law and friend of Marci rae Iten. She
enjoys in her free time babysitting Luc and grandpuppy Lucy, walking at the beach, gardening, baking and spending happy times with
family and friends. |

Bruce Miller Technician
Since 1996
ASE Certified and technically proficient, Bruce has been a steady support to the development of our clientele and exemplary reputation.

Having grown up in Oahu, Hawaii, Bruce followed his passion for all things fast by becoming a Champion motorcycle road racer as well as
drag racing Volkswagons. His passion led to his studies. He studied Electronics and graduated from New York Technical Institute for Auto
Mechanics in 1982.

Bruce's love for electronics has moved from the road to the air and now enjoys the challenge of flying remote controlled planes. |

Angelo Siane Customer Service
Since 2006
Angelo was born in San Francisco of Italian parents. At the age of 20 he joined the Marine
Corps. A few months after boot camp, he was sent on a tour of Vietnam. He was wounded 11 months later and sent home with a Purple Heart.
He did not return to San Francisco but rather settled in the South Bay after seeing the girls in a previous visit.

In July 1971, Angelo opened a very successful business, South Bay Glass, in Hermosa Beach. After 35 years, he decided to retire but
shortly thereafter found that retirement did not fully suit him. That is when he met Susan and Brian and joined Iten's Car Care. We are
blessed to have such a talented and experienced man at our front desk.

Angelo has traveled all over Europe given his first love for snow skiing. The polar opposite of shy, Angelo loves to chat and can be
found most often on the ski slopes, the golf course or the tennis court. |

Luc Iten The next generation of Iten
Since 2005
Born in May 2005, Luc Taylor Iten was a joyous addition to the new Iten family. He is an exact duplicate of his father and has his mom's
inquisitive and exploratory nature. He loves eating avocados and paper and is a future fishie for certain. He is definitely his father's
son and the two enjoy riding the "big" slide at the park and seeing which one can wake mommy first with their snoring. |

Lucy Shop Mascot
Since 2005
Lucy was a loving addition after the sudden loss of Angel, our yellow lab, and known affectionately by many clients as Wigglebutt.
Lucy is a shop favorite and she'll be the first to greet you with a cheerful smile. Lucy loves to play ball and tug of war with Luc.
She is the 3rd partner in the snoring contest and loves a good afternoon nap. |

Iten's Car Care offers a full range of maintenance and repair services, plus affordable, state-of-the-art electronic diagnosis. Our
AllData computer system provides up-to-the-minute factory Technical Service Bulletins containing updated repair procedures and recall
information.
Technician Training and Certification.
A good repair shop reinvests in educating and training its technicians on a constant basis. When choosing a shop, ask when and how often their
employees attend training classes. A superior repair shop will assure you that all their technicians are properly trained and have received ASE
Certification. Ask to see their certificates and be sure they are current.
High Standards. Peace of Mind.
We employ only ASE certified technicians. Our technicians work on the most technical and computerized vehicles. That's why they continually
train, often surpassing dealership proficiency levels. Our technicians are trained to spot small problems before they can become big,
expensive ones. We make it easy to fulfill your vehicle's maintenance needs by sending you timely Service Reminders.
Parts make Perfect.
Many shops advertise that they use only the best parts. Iten's Car Care believes that only replacement parts used by the manufacturer
(new car dealer) of your car, or OEM parts meet these criteria.

There are many after-market parts that are cheaper, but very few of these parts come even close to meeting the standards of a dealership OEM part.
We will use aftermarket parts only if the quality meets OEM standards, and if it offers you a better value.
A 27-Point Thorough Inspection.
When your vehicle is in our shop, our technicians perform a thorough 27-Point Vehicle Inspection. We inspect the brakes, tires, hoses, belts,
cooling system, axles, steering, suspension, differential, engine and transmission. This comprehensive 27-Point Vehicle Inspection is designed to
keep your vehicle running problem-free. Remember that preventive maintenance now will save you from large repair bills later.
